Tour of the LBM Production Plant at AIR WATER

Expectations as Rocket Fuel

Air Water, an Alliance Partner of the winged reusable launch vehicle (hereinafter referred to as “suborbital spaceplane”) project developed by SPACE WALKER, conducts research and development to process methane contained in biogas derived from livestock manure into ‘Liquefied Bio Methane (LBM)’. Upon completion of the LBM Production Center of Air Water, SPACE WALKER’s Co-Founders CEO Akihide Manabe and CTO Koichi Yonemoto participated in a site tour of the brand new plant on October 3rd, 2022. Liquefied Bio Methane is expected to be used as fuel to power rockets in the future, including future spaceplanes currently under development by SPACE WALKER.
