Collaboration Agreement between Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture and SPACE WALKERー for industrial promotion and regional revitalization
Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture (Mayor: Naruhiko Kuroda) and SPACE WALKER, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akihide Manabe) have entered into a collaboration agreement, to mutually promote the manufacturing industry through space development and work to realize a decarbonized society. The agreement aims to foster industrial promotion and regional revitalization.
The signing ceremony for the collaboration agreement was held at Hirado City Hall on October 12, 2022, with the presence of Mayor Naruhiko Kuroda, Deputy Mayor Takuya Matsuda, and Satoru Doshima, Head of the Culture, Tourism, and Industry Department, representing Hirado City.
■ Purpose of Collaboration
The collaboration aims to mutually promote the manufacturing industry through space development and work towards the realization of a decarbonized society, while fostering industrial promotion and regional revitalization.
■ Key Areas of Collaboration
(1) Promotion of the manufacturing industry, based on space development.
(2) Promotion of the utilization of hydrogen, and other green energy sources.
(3) Promotion of space, and science and technology education.
(4) Promotion of tourism, and other initiatives for regional revitalization.
