SPACE WALKER Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a joint research agreement with Kyushu Institute of Technology, a national university corporation, for the ‘system design and flight testing of a reusable winged rocket experimental vehicle (WIRES)’ in order to achieve its goal of launching a winged suborbital vehicle service in 2022.

※ “WIRES” (Winged Reusable Sounding vehicle) is an experimental aircraft designed to demonstrate technical issues such as system optimization, aerodynamic design, guidance and control systems, composite aircraft structures, and propellant tanks for winged suborbital aircraft.
