Lecture at JASMAC-30

COO Akihide Manabe participated in the 30th Conference (JASMAC-30) of The Japan Society of Microgravity Application (JASMA) as a guest lecturer, where he exchanged information of SPACE WALKER’s missions with many participants, including the astronaut Mamoru Mohri.

Date:2018.Oct. 29th(Mon.)~Oct. 31th(Wed.)
Venue:Juroku Plaza(1-10-11, Hashimoto-cho, Gifu)
Sponsorship:Science Union of Human Planetary Habitation in Space (SPHPHS), Japanese Society for Biological Sciences in Space, The Society of Eco-Engineering, Japan Society of Aerospace and Environmental Medicine, The Japanese Association of Space Radiation Research (JASRR), Community of Space Anthropology, Kyoto University Unit of Synergetic Studies for Space, The Japanese Association for Crystal Growth, Japan Society of Thermophysical Properties, Combustion Society of Japan
Cooperation from : The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)
Supported by:Gifu Convention and Visitors Bureau, Gifu University, Gifu Prefecture
Purpose:
Vast research is implemented under micro gravitational conditions, such as at ISS, recoverable satellites, small rockets, planes, and drop towers. Various academic fields from fundamental research to applicational experiments – fluid dynamics, crystal growth, physical chemistry, material science, combustion science, basic physics, and biological science are the subjects of those researches. By discussing those topics (issues and troubles of experiments and developments, and solutions to them), JASMA will act as a platform for strengthening relationships and exchanging information, to facilitate and deepen future microgravitational research in industry-government-academia collaboration.
