Making future space travel as accessible as air travel today
Space Walker is a Tokyo University of Science certified startup conducting research and development of spaceplanes. We envision sustainable commercial space transportation for all, as familiar and accessible as commercial air travel today.
Space Walker's technology originates from advanced research and development of university seeds.
We work as an integrator in an open innovation consortium―crossing industry, government and academia―
from basic and applied research to final development for real-world implementation.
Space Walker is developing the ultimate world-first lightweight-composite cryogenic propellant tank
with patented technology, as well as a completely autonomous flight system, using optimal trajectory generation, and advanced navigation, guidance and control technology, among other developments.
Our spaceplane under development, “ECO ROCKET®,” significantly lowers environmental impact
by reducing ocean dumping through vehicle reusability, and achieving carbon neutrality from liquefied biomethane propellant. We aim to revolutionize an industry where expendable rockets using conventional fuel are still the norm, with a sustainable space transportation system which minimizes the environmental burden on earth,
forming vital technologies to advance our space economy and foster a prosperous future for humanity.
