We are pleased to announce that SPACE WALKER Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “SPACE WALKER”) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (hereinafter referred to as “JAXA”) have signed a memorandum of understanding (hereinafter referred to as “this Memorandum”) regarding the co-creation of a business concept for the commercialization of suborbital planes (hereinafter referred to as “Mutual Collaboration”).
(Objective) The objective of this agreement is to determine the basic matters necessary for SPACE WALKER and JAXA to smoothly and effectively implement their mutual cooperation.
(Basic policy) Based on JAXA’s partnership-type research and development program “Space Innovation Partnership (J-SPARC),” SPACE WALKER and JAXA aim to realize the suborbital plane business promoted by SPACE WALKER, and the basic policy is to utilize JAXA’s technology and know-how, etc., and to use the advanced and low-cost technology newly acquired through collaboration between the two parties to develop and commercialize Japan’s research and development of future space transportation technology.
