SPACE WALKER Inc. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “SPACE WALKER”) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (hereinafter “Kawasaki Heavy Industries”) signed a memorandum of understanding on August 1, 2018, with the aim of building a cooperative framework for the manned flight business using a winged suborbital space transportation system (hereinafter “this business”) being promoted by SPACE WALKER.

The roles in this project are as follows:

○ SPACE WALKER
・Business strategy and customer negotiations
・Setting basic aircraft specifications
・Overall aircraft integration
・Performing licensing procedures, etc.
・Compilation of flight tests, etc.
・Performing other related tasks

○ Kawasaki Heavy Industries
・Design review of composite aircraft structure
・Design review of aircraft subsystems
